James was literate, protestant, single, 5'4" tall, sallow complexion, light brown hair, hazel grey eyes, nose large, scar on bridge of same, horizontal scar on centre of forehead, scar over right eyebrow. Occupation: Carpenter and Joiner. Not listed on NSW Gov. Convict Records. Sent to Moreton Bay. Oct. 1846: TOL (Moreton Bay Courier, Brisbane, 3/10/1846.
