The George Adams that arrived on the Prince of Orange, was convicted at Norfolk Assizes, didn't go to Van Dieman's Land and was transported for 14 years not life. You appear to have him confused with another George Adams. I have written a book on his life. If you want the full story contact me on shrub2@optusnet.com.au. Your entry needs to be corrected. Further to my previous comments, the George Adams you refer to here was on a later voyage than the one that I refer to. Larry Adams
