Also, same day, from Cork, whence she sailed May 25th, the ship Andromeda, 401 tons, Benjamin Gales master, with 173 female prisoners; Henry Kelsawl, Esq., Surgeon-superintendant. Passengers — Fourteen free females, viz. Mary Manning, Martha Morron, Margaret Mahon, Margaret Sheedy, Mary Ann Nixon alias Welsh, Catherine Kiernan, Mary Cassock, Catherine Stanton, Johanna Neville, Mary Lyons alias Hynes, Maria Moran, Catherine O'Donnel, Margaret Kennedy, and Mary Sullivan, and twenty-six children; also twenty-three children belonging to the prisoners. Place of origin: Horsley, Gloucestershire UK, Prison Hulk Registers - Justitia Register No; 1215. Aged; 25 years old Offence; Stealing Fowls Trial; 11 July 1826 - Gloucester CON23-1-1-P004 No; 236. Aged; 25 years old. Shepherd, can shear 1829 - Colonial Trial. 18 April 1829. Sentence; 7 years. The Hobart Town Courier (Tas. : 1827 - 1839) Sat 18 Apr 1829 Peter Aldridge, William King and Charles James Hardinge, were charged with stealing 24 lbs. of flour, value 7s. the property of Geo. Meredith the master of Aldridge. Aldridge and King were found guilty, Hardinge was acquitted. Colonial Secretary correspondence No; 7479. Description: Appointed to the field police 1833 - 2 April 1833. Constable. Offence; Drunk & disobedience of orders. Fined 10/- 1834 - 15 Sept. Offence; Gross Neglect of Duty. To be dismissed from Constable 1835 - List of convicts Convict Musters. Public Works. 1836 - Free Certificate. No; 148. 9 April 1836.
