Irish Convict Database, by Peter Mayberry. Bridget Benson, alias Barrie, age on arrival, 25, per Roslin Castle (5) 1836. Tried Dublin City, 1835. 7 years for stealing clothes. Previous conviction – 1 year. DOB, 1811, native place, Dublin, Trade, Housemaid all work. Widow 1 female child aged 8 years on board, sister Mary Benson arrived per same ship. Catholic.
