Granted a conditional pardon after 7 + 1/2 years. Moved to Victoria on completion of his sentence. Married Bridget Cooney on 21 Aug 1856 at St Marys RC Church, Geelong. Fathered 11 children with Bridget and died at Footscray (Vic) in Jan 1917. Buried Footscray Cemetery
