James Boland was 27 years old when transported on the Isabella (3) Departed Cork, August 1823 and arrived in Port Jackson on 16/12/1823. Crime: Unknown. James was a native of Clonniell, Tipperary. Convicted at Tipperary on March, 26th, 1823. 1828 Census: (Pitt St) TOL Syd., issued 18/8/1828. 15/7/1829: TOL Replaced. 12/8/1830 COF 7/8/1834 COF Renewed. James was named as one of the settlers in Westernport Bay.
