Leeds Borough Sessions Transported Fourteen Years.—John Booth (32), convicted stealing in the dwelling-house of Mr. Thomas Stead, of Wortley, 20 lbs. Weight of bacon, his property. The prisoner had not conveyed the bacon from the place, he being detected in the robbery by a person who was passing between one and two o'clock in the morning. The prisoner had entered through chamber window by means of a ladder. Leeds Intelligencer, 18 Oct 1832.
