Source: The Sydney Herald, Monday 18 August 1834 p 2 Two of the prisoners were William COMSTIVE, and Thomas HORTON - both having arrived in VDL per "Lady Ridley" 1821; and both having been sentenced to secondary transportation.

She married Benjamin Smith in Hobart in 1862 and they settled in Benjamin's home town of Bothwell. In 1870, the family packed up and moved to Goulds Country becoming one of the pioneer families in the district. Frances died in 1903 in Ross from cancer.
