At the Quarter Sessions for the Hundred of Bassetlaw, held the 9th inst. at East Retford, in this county, William Bradley, convicted of stealing one hempen sack, together with 3 quarters of malt, the property of Mr. Wm. Cross, of Gringley, was sentenced to be transported for seven years. Nottingham Journal, 17 Oct 1812.
