Patrick Brassil was convicted at Clare on 11/07/1846 for Robbert of Arms (steal a gun) - tried with Thomas Brett. 10yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemens Land on the 'Tory' arriving 18/03/1847. Gaol Report: Good Ship Surgeon's Report: Good Native Place: Co. Clare Father: Michael Mother: Mary Brothers: John & Michael Sister: Bridget 28yrs of age; single; Roman Catholic; read & write; farmers labourer; 5' 7"; dark freckled complexion; dk brown hair; grey eyes. Station Gang: Darlington, Maria Island (off east coast of VDL/Tasmania) Clear conduct record. 200 days gained by extra work. Musters 1849: Hobbs, Ravendale; 1850: Ross, Collins St. Hobart; 1851: Browns River, J. Thompson, Adventure Bay, T. Hudson .....Bay. Ticket of Leave 15/07/1851 Conditional Pardon 07/06/1853
