The Commission for holding the Hampshire Summer Assizes was opened on Tuesday evening, at the Castle of Winchester, ... The trials of the prisoners were not terminated till late this afternoon. The following received sentence of death: Thos. Bromfield, for robbing Joseph Downton, on the highway, in the parish of Minstead, and taking from him three 1/. notes and quantity quantity of silver..
