Catherine BROWN and Louisa Kemble were convicted at Middlesex, London 14 Jan 1818 for forgery and coining offences. Pleaded guilty. 14 yr transportation sentence. Sent to New South Wales, Australia per the 'Maria' then on to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Elizabeth & Henrietta' 1818. Assigned to work services in VDL. Ticket of Leave granted. Last notation is in 1830.
