From Hobart Town, Samuel Brown, per England, C.P., tried at Oatlands, on 1 July 1872 for idle & disorderly, served 1 month, native of Liverpool, 52yrs, 5 feet 1 inch, dark brown hair, right hand crippled. Tasmania Police Gazette, 2nd Aug 1872, p128.
