The name of Thomas third child a son was Thomas
26/2/1848: Jackson's Oxford Journal: On a list of those to be tried at the Lent Assizes in Oxford: 'Thomas Brown, charged with having embezzled and destroyed several post letters, at Tetsworth, the property of her Majesty's Postmaster-General; and Edward Jones, charged with having counselled the said Thomas Brown to commit the above felony, and afterwards receiving from the said Thomas Brown divers monies, knowing the same to have been stolen.' “I was a letter carrier”. Thomas was born at Ilsworth, Oxfordshire, C1829 and was listed as 20 years old on arrival, 5’6 ½” tall, single, could read and write, C of E, also listed as a labourer. Thomas was the son of James Brown B1798 at Tetsworth, Oxfordshire (a Ag. labourer and formerly a horse keeper) and Ann Worton??? Brothers: James, Richard, Henry Sisters: Elizabeth, Ann, Susan – all at native place. 22/6/1852: Married Ann Molloy (Earl Grey 1852) – they had at least 7 children: Mary Ann 15/8/1852 – married William Vince. James 11/9/1854 1 Son ?? 18/11/1856 William 4/4/1859 Elizabeth 3/1/1861 – died C1863 Elizabeth 9/1/1864 Catherine 9/9/1866 Henry 17/7/1871 17/6/1915: Thomas died at High Peak, Tasmania. Ann Molloy/Brown died 17/10/1917, aged 86.
