Returned from Cockatoo 44/6880 1834. Principal Superintendent of Convicts Office, Sydney 15th July 1834. The undermentioned Prisoners having absconded ................. Burnes Edward, Fiorentia (2), 30-2405, 20, Edinburgh, errand boy, 4 feet 11½, ruddy freckled comp. brown hair, blue eyes, three scars top of forehead, forming an angle, anchor, and another mark on right arm, left third finger broken, from Depot, Parramatta, since 5th July. Second time of absconding.
