At Winchester assizes five prisoners received sentence of death, viz. ... Handlin and Burridge, for breaking out of the goal at Southampton, and being at large before the expiration of the term for which they were sentenced to be transported.— They were all reprieved. Bath Chronicle, 11 March 1790.
