married Julia Lackey 25 February 1845 married Eliza Sarah Chant (nee Woodhall) 20 September 1882 had six children to Eliza between 1867 and 1873 (note before they were married) - Emma Ann, Alice Elizabeth, Herbert Sydney, Rosina Amelia, James Christopher Rhueben and Ada May. Johns occupation on all official documents noted as a plaster in VDL.
