Sometime between Oct. 1847 and Feb 1849 James Byrne was again convicted - the only mention I found that fits is the following:
15/2/1849 Sydney Gazette:
The undermentioned Prisoners of the Crown have absconded since last publication:-
James Byrne, Waverly, 1839, 25, Manchester, cabin boy, 4’10 1/4” upwards, pale complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, perpendicular scar on upper part of left side of nose, diagonal scar on right side of forehead, small dark mole on left collar bone, WW inside lower right arm, JW inside lower left arm; from Blackheath Stockade since the 8th instant, in irons.
