Ann Birmingham at age of 21 was transported for 7 years from Ireland on the convict ship “Marquis Cornwallis” after being found guilty at Dublin in November 1793 of stealing. “Marquis Cornwallis” convict ship did not depart Ireland for almost another two years, in August 1795, and arrived at NSW in February 1796.

“TRIALS at the THOLSEL,
“An adjournment of the Quarter Sessions was held before the Recorder, on Tuesday last, at which the following persons were tried:
“Honor Birmingham. for feloniously taking four deer skins, the property of Peter Moore, to be transported.
“Judith Delany for receiving the above four skins, to be imprisoned one year, and pilloried next Saturday.”
“Sarah Berne, for feloniously taking a silver watch, value 1l, the property of Richard Dobbins, to be transported.
