General Quarter Sessions.— On the following prisoners were tried, and have received sentence as under: ... Joshua Cain, William Lovell, and Thomas Jones, for stealing a beaver cloak. &c. the property of J. Powell; —seven years transportation. Bristol Mirror, 15 Jan 1820. ---------------------------------------------------- Friday se'nnigbt, the eight undermentioned male convicts were removed from Newgate, and put board the Justitia Hulk, at Woolwich: John Hall, George Gadd, Jeremiah Crowley, Joshua Cane, William Lovell, Thomas Jones, Joseph Hallet, and James Lewis.
