Trial 2 Apr 1843 at Limerick City IRE for stealing 11/6 from a man at the 'Blue Anchor' public house Family: wife Catherine; brothers John & Timothy; sisters Jude & Mary Desc: aged 40 from Co. Cork, married, 5'4" tall, illiterate, RC, reported as being indifferent & troublesome Emerged from Probation Gang 4 Aug 1845 TOL 1 Sep 1847 Certificate of Freedom 23 Apr 1850 CP 29 Apr 1850 In VDL he was convicted of stealing bread, having pipes in his possession, & being AWOL. He was sentenced to 2 terms in solitary & extension to his Probation. Permission to marry Apr 1848 - Catherine Stritch (Phoebe). Married 1 May 1848 in Launceston. Launceston to Melbourne 27 Jul 1852 as a steerage passenger on the 'City of Melbourne' Died Wargram Station NSW 1875
