Francis Callaghan was transported on the Henry, departing 31st Mar 1823 and arriving 26th Aug 1823 with 161 passengers.
Henry 1825. The ship Henry, Captain Ferrier, arrived at Hobart Town, on the 9th ult. with 79 female prisoners, all whom were landed with the exception of two. There were also on board 25 free women, and 33 children, who came out, at the expence of Government, to join their husbands and parents. Sydney Gazette, 3 Mar 1825.

On Thursday se'nnight, Francis Callaghan and Michael Burke, boys about 16 years of age, were committed to Morpeth jail for trial at the next assizes, having been detected picking pockets. Caledonian Mercury, 17 March 1821. FRANCIS CALLAGHAN, a boy aged 16, was indicted for stealing a Pocket handkerchief from Mr John Snowdon, the 7th March, in the Court, during the last assizes. Guilty-7 years transportation. Durham County Advertiser, 1 Sept 1821.
