William R (This would be William 1V who was the British king - succeeded by Queen Victoria). Whereas Patrick Carney alias Kearney was at a Session of Gaol Delivery holden in and for the City of Cork in November, 1834 tried and convicted of Larceny and sentenced to be Transported Seven years for the same. We in consideration of some circumstances humbly represented unto us, are Graciously pleased to extend Our Grace and mercy unto him and to Grant him OUr Free Pardon for his said Crime. Our Will and Pleasure therefore is that you cause him the said Patrick Carney alias Kearney to be forthwith discharged Out of Custody. - And for so doing this sall be your Warrant __Given at Our Court at St James's the Twentieth day of October 1835 in the Sixth year of Our Reign. By His Majesty's Command, (Signed) J. Russell. Description. Patrick Carney was only 12 years old when transported for 'Robbing a car'. His native place was Corel, Inchigielah, Cork. Assigned to H.C. Antill at Camden. 1839: Absolute Pardon 1854: Married Annie Maria Maloney at Ipswich, QLD. They had 5 children. 18/10/1859 The North Australian, Ipswich, QLD: NOTICE. TOOLOOM DIGGINGS. All Provisions of the best quality, with Grass and Water in abundance. 24/9/1862: Patrick died at the Ipswich Hospital, QLD., and was buried at the Piswich Cemetary. Annie then married Pillip Gimpel 25/4/1866 at Ipswich. They had 6 children. Annie died 17/5/1910 at Mutapilly, Ipswich, QLD.
