Ipswich Borough Sessions. THE ROBBERY AT BIRKFIELD LODGE. Alfred Carver, 16, Henry Howlett, 16, and Charles Gray, 14, were charged with having stolen a quantity of copper pipe, affixed to Birkfield Lodge, the property of F. Campbell, Esq. Mr. Carlos Cooper appeared for the prosecution. The particulars of this case have already appeared in the Journal. It will be recollected ... Ipswich Journal, 23 March 1844.
