He was born in Whitgift near Goole Yorkshire His first sentence in April 1826 to be transported for 7 Years he served this on the prison hulk Dolphin and was later released He was again charged in 1836 with stealing and this time was transported dying in Hobart May 1871 There are 2 Isaac Chafer's born in the same year but I have been able to trace he other one born in Burton-on-Stather from birth to death
