11/11/1835 Taunton Courier, and Western Advertiser Somerset, England: James Chapple, for stealing a piece of lead from James Grant Smith. James Chapple was 19 years old on arrival. Native Place: Somersetshire. Occupation: French polisher (indifferent). James was literate, protestant, single, 5'2" tall, dark sallow complexion, dark brown hair, chestnut eyes, nose large, small mole right side of neck, pockpit left cheek bone, small mole left jaw, mark of a burn back of left wrist. 1844: TOL Parramatta - Listed as 'Chappelle'
