Native Place: Somersetshire. Occupation: French polisher (indifferent). James was literate, protestant, single, 5'2" tall, dark sallow complexion, dark brown hair, chestnut eyes, nose large, small mole right side of neck, pockpit left cheek bone, small mole left jaw, mark of a burn back of left wrist. 1844: TOL Parramatta - Listed as 'Chappelle'
