She left the Cove of Cork the 19th of September last, and brings, in excellent health, 144 male prisoners. Surgeon Superintendent, Dr. Taylor, R. N. The guard comprises 30 men of the 1st Foot (Royals), under orders of Lieut. Lewis. Sydney Gazette, 13 Jan 1821.

Claims

"Samuel Clark is my 3rd great grandfather 15 years of age stealing a watch from Edmund Thomas Moore, watchmaker at 8 prospect Row, Kingsland Road, St John, Hackney Uk. Wednesday afternoon on 29 November 1826. Sentenced to Death at the Old Bailey 7 December 1826. Whilst waiting for Death at Newgate Gaol, on 15 March, the 4 prisoners were spared along with 40 other prisoners, 5 were not so luckly. Transferred to Justitia, Woolwich and sailed on the Prince Regent arriving in Sydney 27 September 1827. He was transferred to Carters Barracks. Samuel Eventually made his way to the Illawarra region where he owned large parcels of land around Albion Park and Yellowrock."
