1878, 9 February: John COE per Emma Eugenia, native place Norfolk; arrived 1813; tried at Norwich Sessions, March 1837; died 9/2/1878 - his name appears on a list from the Police Department of New South Wales, Convict Branch, Sydney. The document is signed by the Inspector General of Police and dated 8 January, 1879 (see New South Wales, Australia, Convict Records, 1810-1891; Convicts Deaths; Annual Returns of Convicts Who Died, 1867-1891). Note: There are no details of the cause of his death or the place of his death or burial.
