Jane COFFEE was convicted for Vagrancy at Cork 4 Aug 1845 (not larceny as first recorded). 7yr transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) per the ‘Arabian’ arriving 25 Feb 1847.

Single; aged 30yrs; housemaid; 5’3 1/2”; can read; Roman Catholic.
Native place: Cork, Ireland.
Brothers: Thomas & Daniel
Sisters: Maryann & Nancy

In Colony:
Some notes of misconduct and punishment.

22 July 1850: Married George Thomas Edwards (transported per ‘Prince Regent’), at Campbell Town, Tas. (ref. 37/1/9 no. 47)

1852: at Ross, Tasmania.
