Bess was 5'4½" tall, brown complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, scar over outer corner of right eyebrow, HM on upper right arm, scar back of left thumb, another back of fourth finger of left hand, marks of cupping back of both sides of neck. 20/12/1843: COF - Native Place: Strabane, County tyrone, 5'5" tall. 9/11/1837: Married William Granger (Phoenix 1828) at St. John's, Parramatta and had 5 children. 1864: Bess died and was buried at Camperdown Cemetery - William married Hannah Hammersley (Cheetham) in 1865, he died in 1866 and was buried with Bess.
