Suffolk Summer Assizes. James Howard, 26, Horace Collins, 28, and Samuel Collins, 29, convicted of having, on the night of the 6th of April, or early in the morning of the 7th, with others, feloniously and burglariously broken and entered the warehouse of Richard Collins, of Botesdale, and stolen therefrom a quantity of sugar, the property of the said Richard Collins: each to be transported for 15 years. Ipswich Journal 12 Aug 1843. ————————————————————————— The following convicts were removed from the County Gaol in this town by Mr. Johnson and assistants, to the Penitentiary, Millbank, viz., William George Simpson, William Burrows, Thomas Garrod, Isaac Johnson alias Wobeley, George Folkard alias Woods, and James Brundish, for life. James Howard, Horace Collins, Samuel Collins and William Gould, for 15 years. John Gould, for 14 years. Amelia Rayner and Mary Whittaker, for 10 years, Thomas Scales, and Lydia Wright, for 7 years.
