Register of General Courts Martial Private Edward Connell, 99th Regt, at Mauritius, 23 Oct 1832, Charge: Outrageous and Mutinous conduct. An irregular sentence of Transportation. His Majesty pardoned him & to be discharged the service. Proceedings laid before the King, 26 April 1833.

Connell Edward, Norfolk (4), 32-2887, 29, Dublin, cotton spinner and soldier, 5 feet 7½ inches, ruddy and freckled comp., brown hair, blue, eyes, scar on left eyebrow, mark of a burn on lower arm, scar of right hand, from C. Windeyer, Telegraph, since October 16. NSW Govt. Gazette, 25 Oct 1837.

Domestic Intelligence- We have no arrivals this week, but three or four vessels have left us for other ports, as will be seen in our shipping intelligence. By the Norfolk, for Sydney, the following passengers have embarked :—Mrs. Aubrey and child, Mrs. Steadman and two children, and 15 prisoners. The Tasmanian, 21 Dec 1832. Shipping Intelligence. Arrivals- On the 30th ult. ... Same day, the barque Norfolk Henniker master, from Madras, the Mauritius, and Hobart Town with merchandise. Passengers-Mrs Aubrey, Mrs Henniker, Mrs Stedman, fourteen convicts from Madras and one from the Mauritius.
