Family connections for Michael (Connelly) are: CONNELLY Michael (Connelly) arrived in NSW on 27 5 1797 after a voyage of 5.5months on BRITANNIA. He was an emancipist when he lived with Ann/Nancy (???/Core her second marriage) & married her on 28 9 1812 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. He may have been living at Hunter St Sydney & have died at Benevolent Asylum on 11 10 1827-buried at St James CofE Sydney or on 2 10 10 1829 age64-buried at St Marys RC Sydney. Michael (Connelly) does not have an entry on this Website as yet-added by me; although 2voyages for BRITANNIA in 1817 are found; & a Michael (Connell) has 2entries on FAME 1817. Ann/Nancy (???) was born about 1769. She married firstly James (Core) in Ireland. She was apparantly tried at Dublin co.Antrim Ireland in August 1791 & sentenced to 7years & again with her husband for stealing money of D (Dermot) at Lifford Assizes Donegal co. Ireland for which she was acquitted & arrived in NSW as a convict with her family on 7 8 1793 after a voyage of 6months on BODDINGTONS. In 1800 she is recorded at Prospect off stores with her husband. She apparantly separated from her husband. She produced 2known children in her lifetime.
