Ship/free: Midlothian Permission date: 26 Jun 1854 1854 - 24 July 1854. Marriage. Church of Saint Joseph. 1857 - THE ALLENED MURDER AT TASMAN'S PENINSULA. Samuel Bates and Michael Mellor were placed at the bar on a charge for that on the 28th June, they did feloniously, wilfully, and with malice aforethought make an assault on one George Martin, and did him kill and murder. The prisoners pleaded not guilty. 1859 - Queen's Orphan School Application for admission FATHER; George Martin - Dead. MOTHER; Margaret Connors. Residence; Launceston Ship; MIdlothian.
