John Considine, per Isabella (2), tried at Dublin City, 4 Sept 1821, 7 years, Law Clerk. Colonial Conviction: Tried at Crim. Court Sydney, 6 Jun 1829, for Obtaining Goods under false pretences, sentence, 7 years. To Sydney 1 July 1836. Description: John Constantine, native of Dublin, age 42, 5ft 4½, fair comp. Grey hair, grey eyes, R.C. --------------------------------------------------- Criminal Court. John Constantine was indicted for saving received money from John Lawless under false pretences. Prisoner was a bailiff in the. Court of Requests, and in the case of Dillon v. Lawless, he called on the latter and received the amount of judgment in the case but without the usual execution, a feigned one being substituted; he made away with the money, and Mr. Lawless had to pay it over again.- Guilty.
