Married man, 3 children; sailor; 5'6 1/2"; ruddy complexion; brown hair; Hazel eyes; aged 22yrs; native place of birth - near Exeter; Church of England; can read & write. 2 yr Probation Period. Station Gang: Norfolk Island Ordered to Van Diemen's Land 7/10/1846. Ordered to Barracks as watchman 05/03/1847
