First offence trialed at Easter Sessions, Bury St Edmunds, 1832 (sentenced to 2mths imprisonment).
07/03/1836 Trial at Beccles, SFK.
Mar 1836 - Aug 1836 Held on the hulk “Justitia” awaiting transportation.
Brother Ezra convicted of a different crime later in Mar 1836 died on the hulk “Leviathan” on 24/01/1837 before transportation.
Brother James Cotton, convicted same time as Ezra, transported on “Mangles” 1837.
