These assizes terminated yesterday, after the dispatch of an unprecedented quantity of business …. —The following were the other prisoners condemned to death: Thos, Woodward, aged 22, and James Crofts, aged 32, for robbing on the highway, John Hearne, carrier, of Walton, of several bank notes, &c.; Stamford Mercury, 4 April 1817.
