Nathan Croll and Charles McMillan were convicted of entering a workshop in St Roque's quarry, and stealing various tools, by opening the men's chests; and also breaking into the boiling house of Wallacemill, near Dundee, and carrying off various articles. The Court sentenced Croll to transportation for fourteen years, and McMillan for the term of seven years. Caledonian Mercury, 28 April 1832.  Nathan Croll, Charles McMillan, and John Templeton, were charged with entering workshop in St Roque’s quarry, and stealing various tools, by opening the men’s chests; and also breaking into the boiling house of Wallacemill,  near Dundee, and carrying off various articles; and also charging the said Nathan Croll, with the aggravation of eight previous convictions in the Police Court of Dundee. Croll and McMillan pled Not Guilty. ...
