Removal of Convicts.—On Monday, pursuant to an order from the Home Office, William Currant, aged 23, (sentenced to transportation for seven years for stealing some tame rabbits from the Unicorn public-house and Joseph Keene, aged 23 (sentenced to ten years' transportation), were removed from the Liberty Gaol to Millbank Penitentiary. Hertford Mercury, 13 Jan 1849.
