Cornelius Day arrived as an exile. He was 47 or 57 on arrival (it gets a bit tricky here, Pcug records have him born in 1802, but on Rootsweb he was born 1792). He was assigned to John Hosking, Foxlow, near Queanbeyan. Cornelius was transported for stealing and killing sheep. Cornelius was married in 1830, County Kildare, Ireland to Ellen Keefe. They had 4 children, some of whom arrived per 'Vocalist' 9/10/1856. His father was John. 30/11/1849: TOL at Queanbeyan. 5/3/1866: Died at Long Swamp, Braidwood.
