Nichols, Esq., opposed to Lawrence Delany, or Delaney. Twenty-six perches, County of Cumberland, Town of Sydney, parish of St. Andrew, allotment No. 10, of section No. 27 ; bounded on the east by York-street, bearing north 15 degrees 30 minutes west 88 links ; on the north by No. 11 allotment, bearing west 14 degrees 30 minutes south 182½ links ; on the west by No. 9 allotment, bearing south 14 degrees east 93 links ; and on the south by No. 9 allotment, bearing east 16 degrees north 184 links. This Description preparatory to the making out of a Deed of Grant, was inserted in the Gazette notice of 13th April, 1839, page 435, in the name of Laurence Delany, or Delaney, who was found in possession, and who alleges, that prior to the year 1812, it was in the possession of Sergeant Thomas Miller, against whom the Sheriff sold to Patrick Boyle, who sold to William Payne, and to Dennis M'Hugh, and he to Christopher Flood, against whom, at the suit of the Crown, the Sheriff sold to Delaney.
