She left the Cove of Cork the 19th of September last, and brings, in excellent health, 144 male prisoners. Surgeon Superintendent, Dr. Taylor, R. N. The guard comprises 30 men of the 1st Foot (Royals), under orders of Lieut. Lewis. Sydney Gazette, 13 Jan 1821.

When James Devlin was born in 1780 in Tyrone, his father, Luke, was 28 and his mother, Mary, was 27. He married Sarah McCracken in 1811 in Antrim, Antrim. In 1820 he was convicted of robbery of a woollen shop in Lurgan, Armagh and sentenced to 7 years in Australia. He was transported on the Prince Regent and arrived in Sydney in 1821. He was a linen weaver by trade. He received his certificate of freedom in 1827. Sarah was convicted of stealing linen in 1829 and was sentenced to 7 years. She arrived in Sydney on the Convict ship Asia V with her two children Ann (17) and John (10). He and Sarah had four children during their marriage. He died on 22 August 1850 in Sydney, New South Wales, at the age of 70.
