The Convict Indentures state that John Dillon was 28 years old.  He could neither read nor write; religion Catholic; status single and a native of Wexford.  He was a labourer (gripple?).  He was convicted of stealing bed clothes on 26 March 1828 at Kilkenny and sentenced to 7 years.  He had no prior convictions.  Physical attributes - height 5 feet 9 inches; complexion dark ruddy and pock pitted; hair brown and eyes hazel.  Transport number 134.
Assigned to Mr John Tucker, Parramatta.
