Prisoner discharged from HM Gaol during the week of the 22nd Nov 1871 & 18 Nov 1871. John Dogherty, per Samuel Boddington, F.S., tried at Launceston, on the 14 Nov 1871, for assault, served 7 days, native place Londonderry, 70 yrs, 5 feet 5 inches high, grey hair. Tasmania Police Gazette, 24th Nov 1871, p189.
