No; 412 1828 - Runaway apprehended since last publication 30 August 1828 1829 - Absconded. 412. Benjamin Dolphin, 5 feet 5, brown hair, light grey eyes aged 23, a labourer, tried at Middlesex in 1825,, sentence 7 years per Woodford, native of shoreditch, small scar centre of forehead, one ditto right side of chin, dimple on chin, b d and five stars inside right arm, m g and five stars inside left arm. Absconded from the Public works Mew Norfolk, 22 sep. 1829. Reward L.2. 1838 - Marriage Permissions; 2 October 1838 Benjamin Dolphin - Free & Elizabeth Maughan per ship; New Grove 1843 - Trial; Launceston. Offence; Burglary. Verdict: Guilty. Sentence; to be transported for life. sent to Port Arthur for 5 years. John Mead, Henry Scroop, Benjamin Dolphin, and Samuel Green, were indicted for burglariously entering the house of Mr. Simeon Forster, on the 3rd June, and feloniously stealing therefrom a quantity of leather, boots, shirts, and a variety of other articles. 1851 - 10 June 1851. Ticket of Leave 1856 - Marriage; Baptist Chapel, York Street, Launceston.
