Burials in the Parish of St. James, Melbourne, County of Bourke Page 112 or 102, Entry No. 4887, October 11th, 1850. Shows that her abode was Richmond and that she was 26 yrs of age.

Ann Donahoo married Michael Ashton on 20th or 26th November, 1844 in Tasmania - Reg. 1844/1212/57.
The age then given was 22 yrs meaning her year of birth was about 1822 and this tends to confirm the age of 17 quoted when she left England in 1839.
