January 1873 - Catherine and husband Andrew Jamieson granted free pardons for offences in 1848. Ref: Hobart Town Gazette 7/1/1873




Catherine was 24 years old on arrival and was transported for 'stealing a watch'. Catherine was 5'2 1/2" tall, hazel eyes, brown hair, face and arms freckled, W, M C on right arm above elbow. Catherine was single, had 1 child, James Dick was the father of the child. 4/7/1844: Married Andrew Jameson (free) in Hobart. 18/5/1845: Her child was in the Orphanage School. Catherine had a TOL and on 24/3/1848 she was tried at Launceston QS for stealing in a dwelling house - Life. 13/11/1850 - Charged with Bigamy and sent for trial. 18/8/1852: Had and illegitimate child. 25/1/1858: TOL
