Hobart Town Gazette, 10 June 1825.
The following Prisoners have absented themselves from Macquarie Harbour, between Feb 26 and March 8, 1825:
John Doyle (290), 5ft. 7in. brown hair, grey eyes, 47 years of age, a labourer, tried at Dublin June 1817, sentence life, arrived in this Colony per Elizabeth Henrietta 1822, native place Dublin, scar on right cheek, crucifix and J. B. on right arm, cross on back of right hand, figure of a woman on the breast, hearts and darts, M. B. and C. B. on left arm, absconded from Macquarie Harbour March 4, 1825.-£2 Reward.
