The guard comprises 30 men of the 1st Foot (Royals), under orders of Lieut. Lewis. Sydney Gazette, 13 Jan 1821.

William DRURY's trade is listed as combmaker - Tasmania, Australia, Convict Court and Selected Records, 1800-1899 William DRURY's sentence con 27 Mar 1819 was originally Death but appears to have been appealed to life and transportation. Once in Van Dieman's land it appears that the sentence was further reduced to 7 years.
